We provided evening tea with halapa and dinner for the residents of the Senahase Nawathana Elders’ Home. In addition, we donated dry food items, essential medicines, toothpaste, and other necessities. Afterwards, we organized a singing program together with the elders, which brought them great happiness. District Governor Lion Jagath Weerasingha MJF MAF JP, Convention Secretary Lion Prasad Kohoban PMJF, PMAF ,GLT Coordinator Lion Ranjith Jayathilaka MAF and Region Chairman Lion Kapila Kohobange MAF also participated in this memorable event.

The Galle Akmeemana Centennial lions club , together with the region , conducted a mental health and well being project at G/ Angulugaha M.V. , Galle. Around 200 children participated this event. The resource person was senior psycology consultant lion Samantha Kariyawasam. It was a successful program organized by the region.
