The Lions Club of Galle Fort, in collaboration with Wella Professional, successfully organized a Professional Hair Education Program aimed at empowering youth with practical vocational skills in the beauty industry. This initiative was conducted on 26th February 2026 at the Divisional Secretariat Office in Habaraduwa.
A total of 25 youth participants benefited from this workshop, which focused on Hair Colouring, Hair Styling, and Hair Setting techniques. The program was conducted by Mr. Evans Vancuyllenberg, who shared his professional expertise and introduced participants to modern trends and advanced techniques in hair fashion.
This project was designed to enhance employability and self-employment opportunities among young individuals by equipping them with industry-relevant skills. The interactive session provided both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling participants to gain confidence and practical exposure in salon practices.
