Project Description: The Lions Club of Galle Fort successfully organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program for students at the Advanced Technological Institute (ATI) - HNDM, Galle, with the participation of approximately 450 students. This valuable health initiative was conducted with the support and active involvement of experienced former medical officers and healthcare professionals. The program aimed to educate and empower young individuals by increasing awareness of breast cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection, prevention, and timely medical consultation. The sessions were delivered by a distinguished panel of resource persons representing several specialized medical units:
