Project Description:
The Lions Club of Galle Fort collaborating with Lions Club of Matara- Dickwella Ruhunu Millenium successfully launched the first session of its lecture series titled “Protecting Our Future: Awareness for Prevention” on 19th September 2025 at Rahula College, Matara. This program aims to educate school students and teachers on critical issues affecting youth, including drug prevention, discipline, and responsible citizenship.
The first lecture, delivered by Chief Inspector Manoj Samarasekara, was a comprehensive and inspiring session that received excellent feedback from students and educators alike. The program was moderated by Lion Nuwan Prasanna Balage, Attorney-at-Law, and served as an interactive and engaging platform for awareness.
