Donation of kitchen equipment (rice cookers & gas pots) and clothes for the Ditwa affected people of Passara area jointly with Lions Club of Plenty Valley and Lions Club of South East Business of Australia. Value of the project is Rs. 885,700-.
184 families were selected by the Divisional Secretary after a careful evaluation and each family was given with a rice cooker and two gas clay pots of 8” & 9”. Families with 4 or above were given away a 1.8L rice cooker and families with 3 or less members were given away a 1L rice cooker. Lions have spent approximately 100 lionistic hours (overall) for the project and almost 84 lionistic hours were spent on the project day.
17 volunteers joined the project. Ie. 7 lions, 5 lion ladies, 3 children & 2 well-wishers.
