We carried out a community service project by donating school items to selected school children from low-income families. The main objective of this project was to support underprivileged students and encourage their education by providing essential learning materials.
The school consists of 55 students, and we distributed 55 school packs, ensuring that each child received one complete set. Each pack was carefully prepared to include necessary items for daily school activities. A single pack contained 5 exercise books, 1 pencil case, 5 pencils, 3 pens, 3 erasers, 1 ruler, and 1 colour box.
The value of one pack was LKR 1100, making the total donation significant in supporting these children’s educational needs. This initiative helped to reduce the financial burden on their families and motivated the students to continue their studies with enthusiasm.
