Conducted an awareness program for childhood cancer patients and their parents. During the session, the following key areas were covered:
Maintaining a strict and balanced nutritional diet
Infection prevention and the importance of maintaining a normal routine (such as attending school or engaging in play when possible)
Crucial care steps, including monitoring blood counts, keeping detailed records, and maintaining honest communication with the medical team regarding any new symptoms
Additionally, each child was provided with LKR 5,000 to support their medical expenses, benefiting a total of 10 children.
The program concluded with a nutritionally balanced tea party for all participants.
