In a compassionate outreach, the Lions Club donated a pair of high-quality crutches to a lady whose leg had been amputated due to severe diabetic complications. Living on Nonagama Road near Chandrika Wewa, she faced immense difficulty in mobility. Recognizing this urgent need, our members visited her residence to personally hand over the equipment, ensuring she regained a degree of independence and dignity in her daily life. This project reflects our core commitment to health and disability support within our local community. The donation was personally funded by Lion Shamil Chamika and Lion Chandima Sanjeewani.
