Galupura Central started a six months course for young women to empower them in learning the correct and the standard way of doing cakes, pastry and puddings to match the hotel industry.
10 ladies are doing the course and our main aim is for them to start their own food production and develop their family economy. All these ladies are from needy backgrounds who should develop their financial levels to support kids who have started schooling. We have open doors for a very young student who refused to pursue higher education in school. Very happy to notice she is doing well in learning and making her way to get in to hotel school for a course after completing this.
For the four lessons delivered the following cost is covered
1. Ingredients for food (8 lessons for a month) - Rs 120,000
2. Utility Bills (190 hours per month) - Rs 10,000
2. Allowance for the chef - Rs 40,000
Total for the month - Rs 170,000
