Distribution of Dry Food Parcels to Low-Income Families – Mega Service Project
As part of the Mega Service Project jointly organized by the Akuressa Lions Club and the Horana Metro Lions Club at the Thanamalwila Sinhagiri Temple, a compassionate community welfare initiative was carried out to support economically vulnerable families living in the area.
During this service event, dry food parcels were distributed to 20 low-income families, with the objective of alleviating their daily financial burdens and ensuring access to essential food items. This humanitarian gesture aimed to uplift disadvantaged households and promote social welfare in alignment with the service values of Lionism.
The project received strong support and participation from Lions members, creating an atmosphere of unity and fellowship. A large number of Lions, including the Presidents and members of the Akuressa Lions Club and the Horana Metro Lions Club, were present at the event, demonstrating their commitment
