Free Medical Camp Benefits Thanamalwila Community
A free medical camp was successfully conducted at the Thanamalwila Sinhagiri Temple in conjunction with the Mega Service Project jointly organised by the Akuressa Lions Club and the Horana Metro Lions Club. The initiative provided much-needed healthcare services to residents of the area, with special attention given to both adults and children.
The camp offered a range of medical services including screening for diabetes, cholesterol levels, heart disease risk, dental issues, eye problems, and other common illnesses. Participants were also provided with necessary treatments and medicines free of charge, giving underserved families access to essential healthcare support.
A large number of Lions members attended the event, including the Presidents and members of the Akuressa and Horana Metro Lions Clubs, along with Lions Chiefs and other senior Lions. Their collective participation strengthened the project and demonstrated a continued
