Description

22 ladies from Maitipe District secretariat participated the event project was coordinated by Lion Chandrani Ponnamperuma, Assisted by Lion Cyril, Lion Palitha. the audience was address by the president and values of home gardening to bring a healthy meal to the table was emphasize. Lion Cyril educated the audience on right methods of planting and methods of echo friendly urban gardens. Venue was at Mirisswatta Temple Maitipe. attendees were given selection of vegetable seeds, 3 kinds of vegetable plants for their home gardens. it was a very successful knowledge sharing. attendees - Lion Chandrani, Lion Cyril, Lion Palitha, Lion Thanuja, Lion Dr. Damayanthi, Lion Lady Dharma project coordinator - Lion Chandrani Ponnamperuma the plants were donated by Lion Palitha. seeds - Rs.6792 plants - Rs.6432 total - Rs.13224
