To celebrate World Children's Day, the Galle Diamond Lions Club organized a Children's Day program for 1275 children on 01st October 2025 at the Galle Dharmapala Park in a grand manner.
In this program, competitions, children's activities, DJ music and various sports were organized for the children.
The guests of the event included the Governor of 306 D8, 1st Vice Governor of 306 D8, Cabinet Secretary, Convention Secretary, Regional and Zonal Chairpersons, Cabinet Officers, Lions Club Officers and many Lions, Minister Nalin Hewage, Galle Mayor, District Secretary as well as officials from government and non-government organizations.
The project co-chairmen of the event were Lion Shantha, President of the Galle Diamond Lions Club and Secretary Lion Jines.
