In accordance with the concept of the governor of 306 D8 lion District, under the Youth Empowerment to establish District Children's Councils was conducted by the Lions club of Galle Diamond with the association of National Child Protection Department and the Galle District Secretariat on 15th August 2025 at the Galle District Secretariat auditorium. 70 children were attended Attendees:  Galle District Secretary – Mr. WA Darmasiri  Additional District Secretary (Land & Development) – Mrs GG Lakshmi Kanthi  Assistant District Secretary – Mr. TB Nalinda Udaya Kumara  GLT Coordinator of Lion District 306 D8 Lion Ranjith Jayathilaka, MAF  President of Galle diamond Lions club, Region 3 treasure Lion KKSG Shantha, MAF and lions of the club Project Chairperson - The program was beautifully organized by Vice Chairperson of the Galle Diamond Lions Club, Lion Jinesh Nanayakkara, MJF,MAF
